Halong Bay, Vietnam

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

The first stop on our tour of south east Asia. Three hours east of Hanoi is Halong Bay, a UNISCO World Heritage site with 3000 limestone peaks rising out of the water.

For me Halong Bay is slowly being destroyed by the people. Yes we were part of that, but to see the water filled with oil and more rubbish than sea life was sad. I wanted to write this as my pictures do not pick up on the details, and the details make perfection.
