Angkor Wat at Sunrise is not something I would particularly recommend.
The image is yourself, a travel companion, silence and the glory of ancient Khmer buildings. The reality is 1000 tired grumpy tourists fighting for the best spot, Cambodian touts trying to sell you photos/tour guides/breakfast and a lot of snapping cameras.
However the rest of the Angkor sites are stunning and if planned at the right time can be explored relatively privately.
