Vietnam- Feet up, pass out

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

After an exhausting few days- Motorbiking through the Hoi Van pass, sailing through the limestone peaks of Halong Bay and walking around the ancient city of Hue.. (and some dancing/falling off pool tables), we needed to relax.

We were recommended this french owned beach bar at the end of An Bang Beach (much nicer than Cua Dai) and made camp for a few days only moving for a drink or some 'frites'.

A true undiscovered gem, I can not wait to go back one day.

Vietnam- The beauty of Hoi An

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Hoi An was by far our favourite place in Vietnam. Famous for the thousands of tailors that line the ancient streets it is also a beach paradise and a world heritage site all in one.  The atmosphere is compariable to that of Suzhou, just out side of Shanghai or Venice in Italy, but a little less un discovered.

At night the whole river lights up with the surrounding buildings and lanterns float down stream. Perfecto!
